Six Steps to Navigate Difficult Emotions

About The Event
This mindfulness practice is helpful when we're going through times of uncertainty or stress and are experiencing difficult emotions in the process. The practice enables us to create space for our experiences while also activating the parasympathetic nervous system and reducing the flight, fight, freeze response.
During the session we will bring into our awareness our current experience and we will go through these six steps: notice, breathe, expand, rest in the space, offer self-compassion and open awareness around our experience. You will be able to feel more present, at ease and balanced.
